Mother's Day Gift

Geriatric Gardening

It has become difficult for me to garden with my back and stupid nerve stuff but I am just doing it slowly. Emily and her husband were coming thru town and they put the landscape tie in for me. Today, I put the newspapers and leaf mulch down. See, I love to garden but am still the queen of cheap! I went to the Farmers Market this morning bought some plants for the new bed including 2 nice sized blueberry bushes for the backyard. They already have flowers....maybe we will get a few this year!

I had to stop after getting the front done and will try to do the blueberry bushes later or tomorrow.

May Monochromatic is Red!!!

I am trying a table runner out of reds. Not too sure if I like it yet or not! We'll see how it ends up!

Vegetable Soup

This is my most favorite quilt I made so far. I have a king size bed, and it fits it! Made me even more happy!!!
