Rather Lazy

So I have been rather lazy this month of June. I have even let my house get out of hand. The bad thing is that only I can clean it. I haven't sewn much but I did pick up knitting again. I am making myself a cowl neck for the winter and a shawl. For the shawl: I am using size 35 needles and my knitting keeps falling off so I have to start over again. I am trying to perfect it so it doesn't fall off. Any suggestions???

Design Wall/Birthday Gift from Japan

I have to share these two unrelated things. One is 3 1/2" half square triangles and the other is my birthday gift from my son (who lives in Saitama Japan) and his fiance' who both seem to know my likes! Thanks, kids! I am really excited about learning something new!

Ok so what do I do with my 3 1/2' triangles? Any suggestions?

Design Wall: Something Susan?

I have had a hard time sewing lately for one reason or another, but I still was cutting fabric. While I was cutting this fabric from my scraps, I saw something Susan. Not sure what it will turn out to be or if Susan would even want it but for now....it's Something Susan!
