Long time, no post!!! To knit or to quilt???

Here is a pencil cup thing I made for Melanie. Hope its not too tall! here is the before and after felting pictures!







This quilt piece is called Heart and Home or something like that. Fourty two people from the quilt guild each made a piece and other members are putting it together to donate to Habitat for Humanity. Geez I hope I got that right! Most people did their square in 30 minutes or so while I had to go to the Quilt Tutor and it still took 2 1/2 hours to do and when I got to the tutor's I had all my pieces cut. Geez, do I need a developmental quilting class.
